Cleans Well and Has a Pleasant Odor; Cassia and Detoxifying Effects Sound Like a Marketing Ploy Ultimately, the purpose of a shampoo is to clean your hair and your scalp, which this shampoo does well. The shampoo is very thick, and lathers nicely. The extracts of basil, ginger, and especially lemon provide a pleasant odor, though the odor does not seem to last very long after washing my hair.

Lovely herbal scent, thick and foamy. Leaves the hair feeling clean. Do read the ingredients, however. Results with this shampoo are good. I use a leave-in keratin product on my hair after shampooing to tame the gray frizzies, so it’s important for any shampoo to get out residue when I wash it. This does as good a job as the shampoo I ordinarily use. Since I do a second shampooing with a purple shampoo for gray hair, it’s hard to say if a first shampooing with this Herbal Essences is superior to that with my usual brand.

OK Product for the Price but Not a Genuine NATURAL Shampoo This is an OK Product for the price, but it isn’t anything special. It does the job of deep cleaning the hair, but if you are an “all natural” enthusiast, don’t let the name, HERBAL ESSENCES WILD NATURALS fool you.
